i need help, i program in vb5. (that sounded really gay) anyway i want the popupmenu's colored. none of you can pry do it, but anway bye, you dont need to help me, i am a 'lamer pup'

maybe someone could help you out if youwere a little more specific on what you are trying to do. "how do i make an im answerer?" is what comes to mind.

You have to

#1 - Set your menus to owner drawn.
#2 - Subclass the WM_MEASUREITEM & WM_DRAWITEM (?) messages
#3 - Draw and size them.

That's for standard menus, haven't worked to much with popups but you'd probably have to subclass the WM_CONTEXTMENU message.
