The idea of clone baiting was a genious, I have made clone technician, and bait. Many users found it nice, but unstable. I thought that same, and the idea that there are limited clones possible, due to the fact that each AOL window takes up memory, will only allow you to open 7-15 clone windows, if you are running good, with nothing open, as the computer just started up. Within winsock, the only real memory it would be taking up is the sockets, which don't really affect anything, if you can close them. Having it collect thru America Online 2.51 and collect to basically unlimited clones (as many sockets as your connection can handle) the rates per minute would be in the thousands, if the collecting was good. If anyone actually goes to this forum in this BBS please give me your feed back on the 'Clone Baiting via Winsock' idea. I would like some original ideas > The Accountant series, I have to say had many original idea's that I have never seen, and now see many people claiming they had the idea first, even though there program is just being released this year, and Accountant was released over a year ago. HMMM. Lies from the other "AOLERS". ------------------ Stephan aka Guilt. Hail Satan! IP: Logged |

We'll, if it werent for the fact that in Winsock - the only applicable thing to do would be the aim/aol tic toc protocols..which would make this task no more than impossible.ON aim, anybody can respond to you, unless blocked..and when blocked, not even empowereds can break through. (i think) And anyways, im not sure if any has actually grasped the coding to recieve ims.. good luck, but i doubt its possible. IP: Logged |
